September 30 – A Assortment of Prayers

Everlasting God, you created me to do your work amongst individuals, and to serve you now in response to my talents. Train me to make use of my time correctly, to withstand all temptations, and to serve my fellow Christians. As I perform all my duties, could I glorify your title. Give me a watchful and lively spirit, and knowledge as I select my work, that I’ll do every part with the dignity of a Christian, and fill my time with actions of religion and charity, utilizing and multiplying all the skills you could have given me, my Lord, and eventually enter my grasp’s happiness; to your mercy’s sake. Amen.
