Because the U.S. elections method, many discover themselves overwhelmed. Political tensions and day by day anxieties are heightened throughout this season because of the media profiting off of our concern and anxiousness. That leaves us trying to find lasting peace. In such moments, Psalm 94 gives a well timed invitation to seek out stability in God’s steadfast love, particularly in verses 18-19, the place the psalmist writes,
“After I stated, ‘My foot is slipping,’ your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiousness was nice inside me, your comfort introduced me pleasure.” – Psalm 94:18-19, NIV
That is proper! God’s “steadfast love” is an anchor in occasions of hysteria, and His “consolations” are sufficient to carry our spirits when our worries really feel insurmountable.
