One thing New – by Karen Huffaker

“Then He who sat on the throne stated, “Behold, I make all issues new.” Revelation 21:5 NKJV

As keen brides plan for his or her wedding ceremony day, many maintain the time-honored custom of gathering one thing previous, one thing new, one thing borrowed, one thing blue to put on on that special occasion. The comfortable couple will begin a brand new life collectively. We’re instinctively drawn to new issues: new garments, a brand new pair of footwear, a brand new job, automotive, residence and furnishings.

Beginning new hobbies, friendships, and new expertise spark contemporary enthusiasm. We look ahead to attempting the brand new native restaurant, seeing the newest film, or plotting out a brand new backyard to plant within the spring.

Or, when you’re drawn to a brand new problem you plunge into an intense train routine, new profession, sport or be taught a brand new language.

There’s one thing inspiring concerning the newness of issues. It retains us feeling younger, wholesome and optimistic. And it makes life higher, richer and fuller.

Are you studying or doing one thing new?

Every time I dive into learning the scriptures I be taught one thing new about God and/or myself. I’m in awe of His endless compassion that’s new each morning and reminders about His limitless love, faithfulness and forgiveness, mercy and style. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

I notice how I fail and fall quick every day, however God forgives me and loves me nonetheless, simply as He did the Israelites, Moses, King David, Paul, Peter and plenty of others. We don’t have to surrender or give up. He who is in a position could make all issues new. As we settle for Jesus into our hearts we turn out to be a brand new particular person with a brand new life in Christ. And the Holy Spirit will come to reside in us.

The Apostle John described in Revelation 21 the brand new heaven and new earth which can be to come back, the New Jerusalem, and that God will make all issues new. (Verses 1, 2, 5)

Tomorrow we are able to begin over afresh and look ahead with nice pleasure to one thing new!
