Hear, O LORD, once I cry with my voice,
And be gracious to me and reply me.

Psalm 27:7 (NASB)

Within the first six verses of this psalm we’ve got meditated upon the arrogance of the kid of God in Him. In verses seven to 12 we discover the prayers/petitions of the believer; hear me LORD v.7, Iwill search Your face v.8, don’t disguise Your face from me v.9, train me, lead me v.11, and protect me LORD in v.12. In at the moment’s verse David beseeches God to listen to his voice in prayer, however prayer to our Father might be silent too, from the center and even by means of tears – He hears all of them.

However know that the LORD has set aside the godly man for Himself;
The LORD hears once I name to Him.
Psalm 4:3

Psalm 4:3 tells us an essential element; we all know that God hears all prayers, however the prayers from His godly ones (in His household by means of Jesus Christ His Son) are given precedence – they’re “set aside” from the world.

Expensive Reader, if you’re a baby of God saved by means of the valuable blood of Jesus Christ, we will come confidently to God in prayer for all our wants. What’s extra we will publically proclaim our confidence in God’s Gracious answering of our prayers; notably with those that are unbelievers who would do us hurt – what an affidavit! Thus the theme of confidence carries on into our petitions to our Father God – pray confidently brethren!

Depart from me, all you who do iniquity,
For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
The LORD has heard my supplication,
The LORD receives my prayer.
Psalm 6:8-9
