October 7 – A Assortment of Prayers

My God, I thanks for making me, redeeming me, and protecting me in your grace. It’s the reward of your mercy that I’ve accomplished any good, and it’s the reward of your mercy that I’ve been saved from any evil. I reward you for each good thought you’ve got implanted in my coronary heart, and I reward you for the grace and knowledge to obey it. With all that I’m and with all I can do, I reward you. Amen.

Edward Bouverie Pusey (1800-1882), revised from Prayers Historic and Trendy.

Open huge the home windows of our spirits and fill us full of sunshine. Open huge the doorways of our hearts, that we could obtain and entertain you with all our powers of adoration and love. Amen.

Christina Georgina Rossetti (1830-1894), revised from Prayers Historic and Trendy.

Prayers Historic Made Trendy (annotated) is offered in print and on Amazon Kindle by means of Amazon.com.
