God, since you might be love, whoever doesn’t love you or his brothers doesn’t know you and stays in demise. Ship us from injustice, envy, hatred, and malice. Train us to pardon all who’ve offended us, and to be affected person with each other, at the same time as you, Lord, are affected person with us, in your compassion and love. Amen.
Eugene Bersier (1831-1889), revised from Prayers Historical and Trendy.
God, you’re the writer of affection and the lover of pure peace and affection. Free all who’re terrified by fears, bothered by poverty, harassed by troubles, worn down by sickness. Present them your tender love, increase them up in a renewed life, and help them along with your each day compassion; via Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Gallican Sacramentary, A.D. 800, revised from Prayers Historical and Trendy.
